Have you thought about eternity?
God has changed my life. Earlier this year, I was depressed and anxious; afraid and full of contempt for the people around me. When I was suicidal, God revealed to me the purpose of my being here and that everything happens for a reason.Romans 8:28 For we know in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. I did not know what my purpose was, but I do now. I live to teach others about the living God.Christ lives in me.
Have you thought about eternity?

#JewsAndArabsRefuseToBeEnemies is a social media campaign that aims to promote love and peace between both Jews and Arabs, Christians and Muslims despite the current conflict.
The campaign was launched by Abraham Gutman (Jewish) and Dania Darwish (Arab), both students at Hunter College in New York, immediately after the start of Operation Protective Edge in Gaza - and this week it gained momentum.
We are use to the images of violence, tears, fear and war that is reported in mainstream media. But this shows a different story. It shows that people are different and love can over look any difference. Love can break down the strongest wall.
Please re - blog. Don’t spread hatred. Spread love.
Love doesn’t mean romance. How could we love everyone if that were the case? Love means so much more than we give it credit for.(via asdeepcriesout)
Anonymous said: Hi, I used to think being Atheist can solve my beliefs. Since I always felt the impossibility of the religion overwhelms me from starting o commit myself to faith. But honestly I've been feeling emptied, and felt the atheistic outlook of life does not provide the comfort I am looking anymore. How do I become Christian, and how do I maintain relationship with Christ. (I recently bowed down and prayer to commit myself to Christ.) Thanks.
"There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” - Luke 15:10
Congratulations on taking the first step into a relationship with the Lord through Jesus Christ!
It is interesting how most people try to find joy in things such as wealth, health, sex, etc. We are designed to have a relationship with our Creator and so nothing else but knowing Him can truly satisfy.
Although you have prayed and committed yourself to Christ, it is just the beginning of a beautiful journey that you will go through. I’m not going to lie and tell you that life is going to be perfect and there is not going to be any pain in this life after accepting Christ as Lord and Savior. The truth is, we will still go through times of happiness, sadness, pain, and grief. The difference is that you now can find joy in knowing there is a spot in heaven for you after this life. Joy is different in happiness because joy is not influenced by circumstances. Joy can only be found in Christ Jesus.
If you have accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, the gift of the Holy Spirit now lives inside you. The Spirit is used to transform you by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2). Here are some things you can do to help you grow in your relationship with Christ and to understand the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
- Just like any relationship, you can only grow closer to the Lord if you spend time with Him. You can spend time with Him through prayer and through the reading of the Word.
- Make it a routine to read the Bible every day. Wisdom and discernment only comes with reading the Word. Pray and ask that the Holy Spirit opens your heart and mind to be transformed by the teaching of the Bible. (2 Timothy 3:16)
- When you pray, you are having a conversation with God. Pray for those around you, pray for the world, and pray for yourself.
- Find a way to fellowship with other Christians. Life groups are great but even if you spend time with other believers playing sports, going to the beach, or anything, good company with other Christians will help encourage you to grow.
- Find a church that teaches the Word of God and can feed you with spiritual wisdom. Talk to the pastor and tell him your recent commitment and ask for guidance.
Remember that being a Christian means being in a life-long relationship with Christ. There will be amazing times where everything is great, but there will be times where things might not be great. It doesn’t mean God abandoned you, it means He is trying to grow your faith and teach you to truly trust in Him and love Him in all situations. If you seek the Lord, He will be found (Jeremiah 29:13). If you ever have any questions, you have many resources. Feel free to ask me anything if you have a question regarding Christianity. God bless and congratulations :)
This is beyond incredible. Just want to also reach out to this anonymous person and say that there are literally a TON of Christian blogs (myself included) that would be happy to answer questions/talk about Jesus with you. I am literally so amazed and full of joy that you have come to Christ, words can’t describe it.
